Six Nations: Fan dies at Scotland v England Calcutta Cup game

A man died after falling ill at the Scotland versus England Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield.

Scottish Rugby said the 60-year-old supporter, thought to be from Northumberland, had been with a group of friends at the Six Nations game.

He was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead.

Scottish Rugby expressed "extreme sadness" and extended condolences to relatives of the man.

Police Scotland said: "Inquiries are still ongoing but it is believed there are no suspicious circumstances."

Scotland lost the Six Nations game 20-0.
