Small jet crashes on landing at Aspen, Colorado
A small jet has crashed on landing at Aspen airport in Colorado.
Eyewitnesses say the plane burst into flames as it landed in icy conditions at the Rocky Mountains resort city.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said the jet appeared to be a Bombardier Challenger 600 coming from Tucson, Arizona. There is no word on any casualties.
Emergency crews are at the scene, about 100 miles (160km) south-west of Colorado State capital Denver.
