Crash between lorry and tanker in Newport's Brynglas tunnels

Traffic is building on the M4 around Newport after two tankers collided in the Brynglas Tunnels.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said one lane of the westbound tunnel near junction 25a was blocked following the incident, which happened at about 06:30 GMT.

Police and traffic officers are heading to the scene and motorists are advised to take an alternative route.
