Los Angeles earthquake shakes local broadcaster

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Los Angeles at 06:25 local time (13:25 GMT) on Monday, rattling nerves but as yet causing no reported injuries or deaths.

Local broadcaster KCBS was in the middle of its morning news programme when presenters felt the earthquake jolt their studio.
