M4 section shut after tanker crash in Newport's Brynglas tunnels

The M4 westbound carriageway in Newport has been closed after two tankers collided in the Brynglas tunnels.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the tunnel near junction 25a was blocked following a crash which happened at about 06:30 GMT.

Police and traffic officers are at the scene and motorists are advised to take an alternative route.
