Man in tanker fall flown to hospital

Man airlifted to hospital after falling from tanker off Pembrokeshire

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being rescued from the sea off Pembrokeshire.

The man fell from a tanker near St Ann's Head at about 18:30 GMT on Monday.

Milford Haven Coastguard said it believed the man had been in the water for about 10 minutes before being picked up by the RNLI.

He was given first aid at the scene and flown to Morriston Hospital in Swansea suffering from hypothermia.

A coastguard spokesman said it is not known why the man fell.
