Hazel North: Police search garden and house in Kilmarnock

Hazel North Hazel North was last seen by her sister on 4 March

Police investigating the disappearance of a woman from Dunfermline are searching a house and garden in Kilmarnock.

Hazel North, 19, from the Cairneyhill area of Dunfermline, was last seen by her sister on 4 March. She said she was going to see a friend in Kilmarnock.

Police forensic teams have been searching a house and garden in Northcraig Road, Kilmarnock.

Officers have been on the scene since 06:00 on Friday.

Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing in Dunfermline and Kilmarnock to trace Ms North.

She was described as being 5ft 8in tall and of slim build with a fair complexion. She has shoulder-length blonde hair.

Anyone with information regarding Ms North's whereabouts, or who may have seen her since Tuesday 4 March, is asked to contact Police Scotland.
