Russian billionaire Deripaska: Sochi is good investment

Russian business tycoon Oleg Deripaska has been explaining why he co-funded the Sochi Olympics.

He told the BBC's Daniel Sandford he wanted to develop the area where he spent his childhood but also that the "unique place" presented a good investment which would "pay back".

The Sochi Games have been called the most expensive in history though Mr Deripaska disputed the media's claims: "There is not $51bn for sure - it's around 25, 27 in total".
