Teenager charged with stab murder of boy, 14, in Essex
An 18-year-old teenager has been charged with murdering a 14-year-old boy in Essex.
The body of the boy was found at about 11:00 GMT on Monday at a flat off Rosebery Road in Grays.
The victim has not been formally identified, but Essex Police have named him as 14-year-old Breck Bednar from Caterham in Surrey.
Lewis Daynes, of Rosebery Road, Grays, will appear before Basildon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
An initial post-mortem examination indicated that the teenager died from a wound to the neck.
Essex Police said specialist family liaison officers were supporting the family of the boy.
