Global drive aims to make food safer

Food scares have become increasingly common headlines these days.
Just last week, Wal-Mart's China operations recalled donkey meat snacks that had been tainted with fox meat.
At the same time, in Japan, hundreds of people fell ill after eating frozen food tainted with pesticides.
Last year, millions of beef products contained horsemeat were also found across Europe.
Trying to tackle this is the Global Food Safety partnership. Made up of 70 countries and international organisations, it looks at how food is traded across borders.
Sharanjit Leyl spoke to Ali Badarneh, from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, about how to improve food safety.
